Welcome to the Challenges Window!
These Challenges aim to guide you through the fundamental basics of gameplay and beyond.
Review each Challenge description to understand your objectives and know where to find crucial information to help you survive.
A Challenge can be tracked by selecting it and pressing [GUI Action Left].
Once a Challenge has been completed, return to this window to Redeem your reward by selecting it and pressing [GUI Action Up]. Redeeming all of the Challenges in each row will grant you a Special Reward.

Gather Resources
The basic resources you will need are Plant Fibers, Wood, and Small Stones.
These can be found all around you and can easily be harvested using your fists by attacking plant, wood, and stone objects.
You can also pick up small stones by looking at them and using the Interact action.
Craft Tools
Craft a Stone Axe to help you defend yourself and gather resources.
Access the Inventory and locate Stone Axe in the Basics category of the crafting menu.
Stone Axe Harvesting
Some Tools are better than others at harvesting certain materials. Using your Empty Hands to collect Wood and Small Stones is fine, but a good Stone Axe will do it much faster.
The Stone Axe is also used in Repairing and Upgrading blocks like Building Blocks.
Craft Armor
Armor provides protection against incoming Damage and Debuffs such as Infections, Abrasions, and other Critical Injuries. Armor pieces will also have Bonuses when worn, and wearing a Full Set provides additional benefits.
Scrapping an armor piece will unlock it as a cosmetic. Cosmetics can be accessed on the character screen.
Wear Armor
The Primitive Outfit might be a little itchy, but it could save you from a deadly scratch or bite. Worn Armor can slow you down depending on the Armor Type and your chosen Perks.
Check the crafting menu for the full set of Primitive Armor found in the Clothing category.
Craft Club
Melee weapons provide a great way to conserve Ammo, but will cost you Stamina.
Utilizing Power Attacks with [Secondary] can inflict greater damage, yet comes with an even higher stamina cost compared to Primary Attacks.
Craft Bow
Ranged weapons are great at keeping Enemies at a distance. Headshots will typically do more Damage, but can be easily missed, so take your time to make every shot count. Aiming down sights with [Secondary] consumes Stamina in exchange for higher Accuracy and less Recoil.
Craft Arrows
Some Weapons have more than one Ammo type. Ammo types possess differing properties such as Armor Piercing capability or lighting enemies on Fire.
Equip the Weapon and hold [Reload][Reload] to bring up the radial menu to view and select Ammo types for that weapon.
Redeem Rewards
After successfully completing every Challenge within the Basics of Survival category, it's time to claim your well-earned Rewards.
Select each completed Challenge marked GREEN and press the Redeem button below or use [Forward].
Redeeming all of the Challenges in each group will award you with a Group Completion Reward.
Homesteading
10 challengesCraft Land Claim Block
Land Claim Blocks (LCBs) apply a Hardness Modifier to Blocks inside the Claimed Area, protecting from Damage by non-allied Players. Party Members must be allied with the LCB owner, with up to 5 LCBs per Player. Placing Blocks inside the Claimed Area will indicate:
Green for Owner, Yellow for Allies, White for no claim, and Red for restricted placement.
LCBs will also prevent Sleeper and Biome respawns, but allow Blood Moon or Screamer spawns. Pressing [Activate][Activate] on the LCB toggles the Claim Area bounds. To remove an LCB, aim and hold [Activate][Activate], then select Remove from the Radial Menu.
Craft Bedroll
When you place a Bedroll you will see a Bed Icon on your Compass and Map. These will lead you back to your Home and can act as a Respawn point on your Death, based on your Game Settings.
You can have only 1 active Bedroll, which will be the last one you placed. Placing a new Bedroll and destroying or picking up the last placed one will permanently clear all previous Respawn points.
An active Bedroll will prevent enemy Respawns in the area. The size of this protected area is shown during placement of a Bedroll.
Craft Building Blocks
The Shape Menu allows you to choose from thousands of custom shapes to Build your Home with.
To access the Shape Menu, place a Building Block on your Toolbelt, then hold [Reload] [Reload] and select the Shape icon from the Radial Menu. Select a Shape from the menu and use [Inventory][Inventory] to close it. You can now Build by placing the selected Shape.
Variant Helpers behave the same way, and allow you to select from specific objects to place into the world from a single held Block, such as Potted Plants or Furniture.
NOTE: Players on PC can use Shift + [Reload] [Reload] to enter the menu, then use Shift + [Primary] to quickly exit with the currently highlighted Shape selected.
Place Building Blocks
Rotate Blocks forward with [Primary] and backwards with [Reload]. Place Blocks in a clear space with [Secondary].
There are several advanced Radial Menu options available by holding [Reload][Reload] while aimed at a Block.
Copy Rotation copies the rotation to the Block on your Toolbelt.
Copy Shape copies the exact shape to the Block on your Toolbelt.
Copy Shape and Rotation copies both to the Block on your Toolbelt.
On Face is used to attach things like Light Fixtures or Signs to walls.
Simple Rotations restores the default rotation of the Block.
Advanced Rotations allows for additional rotations on some Blocks.
Most Blocks have 24 rotations, while some include 4 additional 45° rotations.
Upgrade Blocks
Building Blocks are used to Build your Home, but are easily destroyed by Enemies. To increases their Health and make them tougher for Enemies to destroy, Building Blocks and their various shapes can be upgraded to Wood, Cobblestone, Concrete, and then Steel in that order.
Use [Secondary] while holding a Repair Tool and having the correct Upgrade Items in your inventory to upgrade Blocks.
Missing Upgrade Items will be indicated in the bottom right of your HUD.
Place Door
Place Doors and Hatches with [Secondary].
Cycle rotations forward with [Primary] and backwards with [Reload] [Reload].
Doors and Hatches can be repaired and upgraded to stronger versions by using [Secondary] while holding a Repair Tool and having the correct items in your inventory.
Open or Close Doors and Hatches with [Activate][Activate].
Hold [Activate] to open a Radial Menu with options to Lock or unlock the door/hatch and Enter a Passcode to restrict who can use them.
Place Storage Container
Place Storage Crates with [Secondary].
Cycle rotations forward with [Primary] and backwards with [Reload] [Reload].
Storage Crates can be repaired and upgraded to stronger versions by using [Secondary] while holding a Repair Tool and having the correct items in your inventory.
Hold [Activate] to open a Radial Menu with options to Lock or Unlock Storage Crates and Enter a Passcode to restrict who can use them. Storage Crates are also Writable, so you can label them for organization.
Place Torch
Place a Torch using [Secondary].
Torches and Candles can be collected by destroying them
Be careful, too many Torches can eventually attract a Screamer Zombie.
Place Spike Trap
Spikes are Traps that slow down and damage anything that walks on them but also take damage themselves.
Place Wooden Spike Traps with [Secondary].
You can repair them with [Secondary] while holding a Repair Tool and having repair items in your Inventory.
There are other types of Traps available to craft.
Upgrade To Cobblestone
Zombies do increased Damage against Wood Blocks, and groups of Zombies apply even more Damage per Zombie in the group.
Blocks made from Cobblestone or stronger reduce this Damage and are able to survive longer while being attacked by Enemies.
Use [Secondary] while holding a Repair Tool and having the correct Upgrade Items in your inventory to upgrade Blocks.
Missing Upgrade Items will be indicated in the bottom right of your HUD.
Advanced Survival
10 challengesSpend Skill Point
Spend Skill Points by accessing the Skills menu with [Skills], then highlighting the desired Attribute or Perk and clicking the Shopping Cart symbol.
Perks grant you abilities and some increase the chance to find more loot related to that Perk.
For example, perking into Boomstick will increase the chance to find Shotguns, Shotgun Shells, Shotgun Parts, and Shotgun Weekly Magazines.
Higher Perk levels require certain Attribute levels.
Hunt Animals
Hunting Animals may require using Stealth.
Attacks while crouched on sleeping or un-alerted enemies apply a Stealth Damage Bonus.
The Stealth Damage Bonus has a default cooldown of 10 seconds in PvE and 60 seconds in PvP.
Harvest Animals
Use Knives or other bladed tools and weapons to butcher an animal for resources.
Perks can increase your harvest yield.
Nearby Zombies will be attracted to dead Animals so work quickly to secure your kill.
Place Campfire
Campfires are used to keep you Warm, cook Food, purify Water and for simple Chemistry.
You must place Wood or other Fuel in the fuel slots to use it and have all recipe ingredients in your Inventory.
Craft even more recipes in the Campfire by adding a Cooking Pot, Cooking Grill or Beaker in the Utensils slot.
Craft Charred Meat
Use the Campfire to make Charred Meat from Raw Meat to keep your Food level up to improve Healing. Your Food level is visible as the Green bar on the HUD.
Make better recipes with improved bonuses by reading Home Cooking Weekly Magazines.
Installing a Cooking Pot allows you to boil Murky Water, a Cooking Grill unlocks additional Food recipes and the Beaker enables basic Chemistry crafting.
Eat Charred Meat
Select a Food or Drink item on your Toolbelt then consume it with [Primary].
Consuming Food and Drinks affects your Food and Water levels and can cause Debuffs like Dysentery. Dysentery can be reduced with Perks such as Iron Gut or treated using items such as Goldenrod Tea.
Drink From Water Source
Water is a factor in how fast your Health and Stamina recovers.
Drink from pools of Murky Water by hovering the Crosshairs over them with Empty Hands, then pressing [Activate][Activate] when the prompt appears. As with Drinking Murky Water from your Inventory, there is the risk of contracting Dysentery.
You can boil Murky Water with a Cooking Pot at a Campfire into clean Water. Your water level is visible as the Light Blue bar on the HUD.
Water will affect regen speed when it is below 50% and 25%. All Drinks will provide a small bonus to Stamina regeneration while the Drink buff is visible.
Place Dew Collector
A Dew Collector is a Workstation that allows you to passively obtain Water over time. Initially it will collect Murky Water, but can be upgraded with Workstation Modifications to provide cleaner Water more efficiently.
Kill Zombies
Zombies are the primary threat to your survival.
Normal zombies walk during the day but move faster at night.
Feral zombies have glowing orange eyes, run during the day, hit harder, and take more damage.
Radiated, Charged, and Infernal zombies regenerate their health and deal severe damage, making them a stubborn threat until eliminated.
Craft Farm Plot
Use your Empty Hand or any Tool to harvest Crops.
Craft Farm Plots and plant Seeds on them using [Secondary].
Seeds can be crafted after reading Crafting Skill Magazines.
The Living Off The Land Perk and some Armor will help you boost harvested Crop yields.
Crafting
10 challengesRead a Magazine
Crafting Skill Magazines come in a wide range of topics. Reading them will increase your Crafting Skill which increases the Quality and/or Technology Tier of the item being crafted. You can track your Crafting Skill progression in the Skills Window and selecting the Hammer icon in the category header.
Crafting Skill Magazines can be found in various loot containers such as Mailboxes, for sale at Traders, or given as a Quest Reward.
Scrap Items
Select an Item, then use the Scrap Quick Action to irreversibly destroy it, gaining some of its crafting cost back in resources.
Scrapping items that can be smelted into the Forge only recovers 75% of the total crafting cost.
Place Forge
A Forge is a Workstation used to craft advanced recipes using smelted metals and other resources.
Forges can be placed and rotated like normal Blocks.
Hold [Activate][Activate] to pick up Forges and other Workstations within your Land Claim area.
Craft Forged Iron
To use the Forge, Smelt resources like Iron and Clay by placing them into the Forge smelting slots, adding Fuel to the fuel slot, then selecting Turn On.
Once resources have been Smelted into the Forge they will be available for use in recipes there.
Installing an Anvil or Bellows will increase performance, while adding a Crucible allows you to craft Steel items.
Place Workbench
Workbenches are used to craft Weapons, Armor, Vehicles and other advanced recipes.
You can queue crafting in the Workbench and your Inventory at the same time.
For recipes at the Workbench, crafting materials must be in your Inventory.
Hold [Activate][Activate] to pick up Workstations within your Land Claim area.
Craft Pipe Bombs
Pipe Bombs are a type of thrown Explosive with a timed fuse.
To throw fused Explosives, use [Secondary] to light the fuse, and hold [Primary] to charge the Green Power Meter. Your throw distance is based on how full the meter is, so adjust your aim.
Don't forget to throw your Explosives before it goes off in your hand.
Some Explosives detonate on contact.
Place Cement Mixer
The Cement Mixer is used to craft Concrete Mix to make stronger Concrete Blocks. It can also mill Small Stones into Sand.
Recipes at the Cement Mixer require ingredients from your Inventory.
Hold [Activate][Activate] to pick up Workstations within your Land Claim area.
Craft Concrete Mix
Concrete Mix is used to repair Concrete Blocks and upgrade Cobblestone Blocks to Concrete.
It can also be used to craft Concrete Helper Blocks which can be formed into a variety of shapes to build with.
Place Chemistry Station
Some advanced recipes can only be made at a Chemistry Station, while other Chemistry and Medical recipes are more efficient when crafted in one.
Crafting at a Chemistry Station requires all materials to be in your inventory.
Hold [Activate][Activate] to pick up Workstations within your Land Claim area.
Craft Gas Cans
Gas Cans are primarily used to fuel Vehicles and some Tools, but are also a material in some recipes and as Fuel for Workstations in a pinch.
Craft some Gas Cans.
Traders / Quests
10 challengesMeet Rekt
Talk to Trader Rekt at his place of business in the Pine Forest biome, Rekt Feeds. He normally has a stockpile of Food and Farming supplies for sale.
Meet Jen
You can find Trader Jen in the makeshift hospital at Jen's Clinic in the Burnt Forest. She is much friendlier than Trader Rekt and deals mostly in Medical supplies.
Meet Bob
Bob's Salvage in the Desert is home to scrapped vehicles, broken appliances, and local gear-head Trader Bob. If you're in the market for Vehicles and Tools he's the man to talk to.
Meet Hugh
Trader Hugh is a grizzled veteran holed up in his Army Surplus Store in the Snow Biome, Hugh Got It. He's the guy to talk to for Weapons and Ammunition from his personal reserve.
Meet Joel
Track down Trader Joel in the Wasteland at his heavily fortified Hunters' Camp. He has the best selection of Armor for sale.
Buy items from Traders
Traders have a wide stock of Items available for sale in many Categories. As you progress, your Trader Stage will increase and Traders will stock more Items as well as offering new, higher Quality items for sale.
Each Trader also Specializes in specific Categories. For instance, Trader Rekt has a Specialization in Food and Seeds which means he has more Meals for sale, while Trader Jen is Specialized in Medical supplies and stocks more Bandages.
Prices at Traders are based on your Barter statistic, which can be modified by items like Consumables and some Armor.
Sell items to Traders
Traders are also a good place to Sell any Items you don't need, but will only accept a Limited amount of the same Item. Some items can only be Sold in specific amounts.
Items with a higher Quality level are worth more when sold, and adding Item Modifications to Tools and Weapons will also increase their Value. Items with Quality levels are also worth more when fully Repaired.
Complete Quests
Traders offer several Quest types which reward the player with Dukes, XP, and Items. Quests must be returned to the Trader that you accepted them from. A Quest at a POI will fail if you leave without completing all objectives.
Start a Quest by approaching the Activation Marker, identified by the Yellow exclamation point and activating it with [Activate] [Activate].
WARNING: This will cause the POI to Completely reset, removing ANY player placed Blocks, including Containers, Building Blocks, and Decorations. This reset is Permanent and Irreversible so make sure you double check before you Activate the marker.
Placing a Bedroll, or Land Claim Block, will protect the POI from being Reset in this manner.
Complete a Quest Tier
Traders offer Quests based on your Quest Tier. Completing 10 quests with a Trader will complete that tier of Quests with them. By default, up to 3 quests per day will advance Quest Tier Progression. Additional quests will grant rewards but not count towards Quest Tier Progression.
After completing a Quest Tier, talk to the Trader for a valuable Quest Tier Complete Reward.
Additional Quest Types will also become available as your Quest Tier increases. You can view your Quest Tier in the Trader Job screen.
Available Quest Types include Buried Supplies, Clear quests, Fetch quests, Infestations, Fetch and Clear quests and Restore Power.
Open a Trade Route
After completing 10 quests with a Trader, a new category of Special Jobs will unlock.
This will enable an Opening Trade Routes quest, which allows you to find the next Trader to advance your Progression. The order is as follows:
Trader Rekt to Trader Jen.
Trader Jen to Trader Bob.
Trader Bob to Trader Hugh.
Trader Hugh to Trader Joel.
Harvesting
10 challengesHarvest Honey
Harvesting Tree Stumps with Axes has a chance to yield Honey which can be used to treat and reduce the negative effects of an Infection.
Infection will begin to drain your Stamina and eventually your main Attributes. Infections are lethal within 7 in-game days.
Treatments for Infection reduce the Infection progression by the amount listed on the item.
The Infection buff banner on the HUD will change to show the improvement status.
Harvest Cobblestone
Cobblestone Rocks are used in the recipe for Cobblestone Blocks and to craft a Forge.
They can also be used to upgrade Wood Blocks to Cobblestone Blocks, improving their maximum health and durability.
Cobblestone Rocks can be harvested from Tarped Pallets.
Harvest Pipes
Short Iron Pipes are used in a variety of recipes, including Pipe Weapons and Pipe Bombs.
Using a Wrench or other Salvage Tool, they can be harvested from plumbing fixtures such as Toilets and Sinks, appliances like Stoves and Refrigerators, as well as Bed Frames, Cars and more.
Harvest Polymers
Scrap Polymers are a resource used in recipes like Dew Collectors and Item Modifications.
Scrap Polymers can be harvested from many sources, including blue Water Barrels, Window Blinds, and some Trash.
Harvest Leather
Leather is an ingredient used primarily in Armor and Armor Modification recipes.
It can be harvested from places such as dead Animals, Leather Couches, and Leather Restaurant Booths.
Harvest Rotting Flesh
Rotting Flesh is a component used to make Farm Plots and some Food items.
It can be harvested from things like Zombie Animal Corpses, Human Corpses, and Body Bags.
Harvest some Rotting Flesh with any Knife.
Harvest Car Parts
Vehicles like Cars, Trucks and Buses can be broken down into resources with Salvage Tools.
Advanced resources such as Engines, Batteries, and Brass Radiators are used in Workstation recipes.
Harvest Mechanical Parts
Mechanical Parts are a commonly used material in recipes like Vehicles, Item Modifications and Furniture.
They can be harvested from things like Office Chairs, Shopping Carts, and Destroyed Generators with any Salvage Tool.
Harvest Forged Steel
Forged Steel is used to craft Steel Blocks, Vehicles, Armor, Item Modifications and many other advanced recipes.
Forged Steel can be harvested from things like Streetlights and Vending Machines, but beware, some Vending Machines have anti-tampering features.
Harvest Electrical Parts
Electrical Parts are used to craft Lights and other Blocks that use Electricity.
Lights and Appliances can be harvested using a Salvage Tool to obtain Electrical Parts.
Harvest some Electrical Parts.
Gathering

Wood can be gathered with an Axe by cutting down Trees and Shrubs or destroying Blocks made of Wood.
Gather some Wood with a Stone Axe.
Gather Clay
Clay Soil is a basic resource used in Forge recipes that can be gathered with a Shovel by destroying Dirt Blocks.
Gather some Clay Soil from digging.
Gather Sand
Sand is a basic resource used in Construction recipes and for Glass items in the Forge.
It can be gathered by using a Shovel on sources like Sand Blocks or Gravel Blocks.
Gather some Sand from digging.
Gather Stone
Small Stones are a basic resource used in Construction recipes and for Primitive Tools.
Small Stones can be gathered by using a Pickaxe on Stone Boulders or a Shovel on Gravel Blocks.
Gather some Small Stones from digging.
Gather Iron
Iron is a dense, rugged rock with dark reds, browns, and metallic hues, used for items in the Forge and other various recipes.
It can be gathered by using a Pickaxe on sources like Iron Resource Boulders and exposed Iron Ore veins.
Gather some Iron from mining.
Gather Lead
Lead is a dense, metallic rock with a dark, bluish-gray color, used for items in the Forge and other various recipes.
It can be gathered by using a Pickaxe on sources like Lead Resource Boulders and exposed Lead Ore veins.
Gather some Lead from mining.
Gather Coal
Coal is a basic resource used as Fuel in some Workstations and other recipes including Gunpowder.
It can be gathered by using a Pickaxe on sources like Coal Resource Boulders and exposed Coal veins.
Gather some Coal from mining.
Gather Nitrate Powder
Nitrate Powder is a basic resource used in some Medical recipes and Gunpowder.
It can be gathered by using a Pickaxe on sources like Potassium Nitrate Resource Boulders, and exposed Potassium Nitrate veins. Potassium Nitrate is a crystalline, white rock with a rough, jagged structure

Gather Oil Shale
Oil Shale is a shiny, multicolored rock with iridescent hues located in the Desert and used for recipes in the Chemistry Station as well as various other recipes.
It can be gathered by using a Pickaxe on sources like Oil Shale Resource Boulders and exposed Oil Shale veins.
Gather some Oil Shale from mining.
Gather Precious Elements
Reading Art of Mining Vol 1 allows you to harvest Gold Nuggets, Silver Nuggets, and Raw Diamonds from Ores.
These Precious Elements are used in some recipes and can be sold to Traders.
Harvest some Precious Elements.
Farmer

Goldenrod Flowers are a flowering plant with vibrant, golden-yellow blooms. Goldenrod Flowers are used in some recipes at the Campfire, like Goldenrod Tea, which is used to treat Dysentery.
Harvest some Goldenrod Flowers.
Farming Chrysanthemum
Chrysanthemum Flowers can be harvested from Chrysanthemum Plants. Chrysanthemum Flowers are used in some recipes at the Campfire, like Red Tea, which grants an Efficient Digestion buff that makes Food and Drink last longer when consumed.
Harvest some Chrysanthemum Flowers.
Farming Coffee Beans
Coffee Beans are used at the Campfire to make Coffee and a special, stronger Blackstrap Coffee.
Harvest some Coffee Beans.
Farming Yucca
Yucca Fruit are harvested from Yucca Plants in the Desert biome. They are an ingredient used to make Yucca Juice at the Campfire, and are required to make Yucca Juice Smoothies in your Inventory.
Harvest some Yucca Fruit.
Farming Aloe Leaves
Aloe Vera Leaf is used to make Aloe Cream, a basic Healing item.
Aloe Cream is also used to craft First Aid Bandages that stop Bleeding and restore some Health.
Harvest some Aloe Vera Leaf.
Farming Blueberries
Blueberries are used in some Food and Medical recipes at the Campfire such as Blueberry Pie, Herbal Antibiotics, and Grandpa's Moonshine.
Harvest some Blueberries.
Farming Hops
Hops Flowers are a required ingredient to brew Beer at the Chemistry Station.
Harvest some Hops Flowers.
Farming Pumpkins
Pumpkins are used in some Food crafting recipes at the Campfire like Pumpkin Bread and Pumpkin Pie, as well as for making placeable Jack o' Lanterns.
Harvest some Pumpkins.
Farming Corn
Ears of Corn are a commonly used ingredient for Food like Grilled Corn and Stews in the Campfire.
Harvest some Corn.
Farming Potatoes
Potatoes are used in many recipes in the Campfire, including Baked Potatoes and Stews.
Harvest some Potatoes.
Healer
10 challengesCraft Splint
Splints are used to treat Sprained or Broken Limbs, helping them to heal more quickly.
Be careful, you can easily Reinjure the limb until it fully heals.
Craft some Splints.
Craft First Aid Bandage
Enemy attacks can make the player Bleed. Bleeding is a Debuff that causes the player to lose health steadily until it is Treated, the bleeding stops on its own, or on Death.
Bandages are a basic Medical item that stops Bleeding, while First Aid Bandages are an improved version of Bandages that stop the Bleeding, and restore some lost Health. They can also be used to treat an Abrasion.
Craft some First Aid Bandages.
Heal Bleeding
To stop Bleeding, use a First Aid Bandage from your toolbelt by selecting it and pressing [Primary]. Some other Medical items will also stop Bleeding.
To use a First Aid Bandage or other Medical item from your inventory, select it and activate the Use Quick Action [Left].
You can use some Medical items on other players by using [Secondary] with the item selected on your Toolbelt item.
Heal Infection
Attacks from Zombies and Animals have a chance to cause an Infection. Wearing Armor reduces the chance of Infection and other Critical Injuries.
Honey, Herbal Antibiotics, and Antibiotics are used to treat an Infection. Use one from your toolbelt by selecting it and pressing [Primary].

Heal Dysentery
Eating and Drinking are a necessity but may have a hidden cost. Some Food and Drinks have a chance to give the player Dysentery.
Levels of the Iron Gut perk increases the chance to avoid contracting Dysentery.
Dysentery causes Diarrhea which dehydrates you and slows down the rate at which you regenerate Stamina and Health.
Goldenrod Tea and Pure Mineral Water will treat Dysentery.
Heal Broken Leg
Broken Legs are a Critical Injury you can receive in Combat or by Falling too far.
A Broken Leg reduces your movement speed and damages you when you Jump or Fall, making you easier prey for faster Enemies.
Treat a Broken Leg by using a Splint or Plaster Cast.
After being treated, Running, Jumping and Falling cause the Recovery Time to increase.
Heal Broken Arm
Broken Arms are a Critical Injury sustained in Combat.
A Broken Arm reduces your Attack Speed and Reload Speed. Power Attacks in melee with a Broken Arm will damage you and increase the Recovery Timer.
Treat a Broken Arm by using a Splint or Plaster Cast.
Heal Concussion
A Concussion is a Critical Injury inflicted on the player during Combat.
Concussions reduce your Attributes and Perk levels. While you are Concussed, being Attacked can cause the Recovery Time to increase. You'll also have Dizzy Spells that affect your hearing and vision.
Treat a Concussion by using Painkillers.
Heal Fatigued
Fatigue is a Critical Injury gained by taking Damage from Enemies.
Being Fatigued increases the amount of Damage you receive from Enemies.
Treat Fatigue by using Vitamins.
Heal Laceration
Lacerations are a type of Critical Injury received in Combat.
A Laceration reduces your Max Health and increases the chance for attacks from Enemies to cause Bleeding.
Treat Lacerations by using a First Aid Kit or Sewing Kit.

Enter Desert
The Desert has always been a dry, lifeless place in Navezgane County.
After the apocalypse, its abundant resources draw human scavengers searching for Oil Shale and Yucca Fruit while Zombie Vultures circle high above, waiting to divebomb Injured survivors.
Enter Snow
The Snow biome is a frigid part of the world that is home to Mountain Lions that Leap towards their prey with jaws and razor sharp claws ready to tear and slice.
Lumberjack Zombies also stomp through the thick Snow searching for the warmth of a living meal while freezing temperatures force survivors to prepare in order to survive.
Enter Wasteland
Once densely populated, the Wasteland has long since been reduced to rubble and twisted metal. Along with its many special infected residents, the roaming Mutated Zombies can be heard moaning in the distance.
Many survivors who enter never return, falling victim to Zombie Dogs, Zombie Bears and Dire Wolves that also prowl the ruined wastes.
Explosions can be heard at varying distances as both friend and foe trip haphazardly over hidden Landmines in the destroyed debris.

Boars are temperamental beasts with unpredictable behavior. Some Boars are Passive and only attack when hurt, while others are Aggressive and will charge at the first sign of a player. They provide Raw Meat, Bones, Fat and Leather on harvest.

Wolves and Dire Wolves are tough Enemies that hit hard.
Dire Wolves are larger and more deadly than normal Wolves with glowing orange eyes.

Kill Mountain Lions
Primarily found in the Snow biome, Mountain Lions have a leaping attack to get close to their prey before shredding them with razor sharp teeth and claws.
They can be harvested for Raw Meat, Bones, Fat and Leather.

Bears are hulking masses of muscle and fat. Able to absorb a lot of damage, they will require some effort to take down.
Harvest them for lots of Raw Meat, Bones, Fat, Leather and Testosterone Extract.

Hunting Animals may require using Stealth.
Attacks while crouched on sleeping or un-alerted enemies apply a Stealth Damage Bonus.
The Stealth Damage Bonus has a default cooldown of 10 seconds in PvE and 60 seconds in PvP.

Zombies are a constant threat to your day-to-day survival.
Not only a direct danger, they can destroy Blocks and consume killed Animals.
As your Gamestage increases, stronger, faster, and more challenging Zombies will appear.
No place is safe, as Zombies inhabit all biomes, with Downtown and Commercial areas hosting the highest concentrations, while other areas may be less populated.
Kill a lot of Zombies.
Kill Zombie Vultures
Zombie Vultures are opportunistic scavengers turned predator that soar high above the sands and cities of the apocalypse, patiently waiting for an Injured survivor to appear.
After marking their prey, they make themselves known by the sudden flapping of tattered wings and sharp talons.
Some Zombie Vultures have the ability to spray acid in addition to their normal attack.
Kill some Zombie Vultures.
Kill Lumberjack Zombies
Lumberjack Zombies are flannel clad undead with heavy feet that stomp their way towards living victims, shrugging off some blows that would take down lesser zombies.

Spider Zombies are persistent hunters that stalk the living before Leaping forward to Attack.

Tourist Zombies are hulks of undead flesh, searching for warm living flesh instead of souvenirs and able to endure what would normally be killing strikes.

Mutated Zombies are grossly malformed creatures, composed of bulging abscesses and blistered skin filled with gas and bile. These pustules burst when they attack, spewing forth a disgusting, burning mess, leaving puddles of damaging acid behind.

Cop Zombies hit hard in melee combat and can also attack from range with a stream of Vomit.
After taking major damage, they will charge toward their enemy and Explode, dealing heavy damage to nearby Blocks and any Players or Zombies caught in the blast.

Wight Zombies are a blur of rage and endless speed. Only their shredded pants hint at the human they once were.

To begin using 7 Days to Die with Twitch Integration you'll need to connect your Twitch account.
Go to Options ► Twitch and then select Connect.
Then follow any on-screen instructions that appear.
Once you are Connected you can exit the Twitch Settings Menu.
Enable Extras
Extra Commands are just too painful for normal Twitch Integration.
These commands are disabled by default, but can be activated for those seeking a more challenging experience, giving their viewers more ways to affect gameplay.

Good Actions
Your Community can help you during gameplay by spawning Supply Crates to gift you items, making you stronger with Buffs, or targeting nearby Enemies with actions like Ragdoll or Burn Near.
Bad Actions
Some viewers may prefer to make your game more challenging by spawning Enemies, making them stronger with Buffs, affecting the world's Weather, or adding Debuffs like Slow or Confuse to you and your party.
Bad Actions will contribute towards the Twitch Cooldown. Cooldown options can be configured in Twitch Settings.
Helper Rewards
By default, every 15 minutes, the viewer who used the most Good Actions will receive the Top Helper Reward.
The time limit and amount of Pimp Points rewarded can both be configured in Options ► Twitch then selecting the Votes tab.
Channel Point Redeems
Your viewers can also spend Channel Points to help you with Mystery Supplies or spawn deadly Murder Chickens to try and take you out.
Votes Completed
Your viewers can Vote between several options to affect your game without spending any Points.
There are several categories including Silly Votes, Boss Votes, Buff Votes, and more!
The frequency of Votes can be configured in Options ► Twitch then accessing the Votes tab.
Pimp Pot
A percentage of all Pimp Points used on commands go into the Pimp Pot.
When you die from a user initiated command, the viewer who used the command that killed you will win the Pimp Pot, adding those Pimp Points to their total.
Bit Pot
The Bit Pot is composed of a percentage of all Bits used on Bit Commands.
When a viewer defeats you with a Bit Command, they will earn both the Pimp Pot and the Bit Pot.
Boss Hordes
A Boss Vote is a type of Vote that spawns a Boss Horde, which consists of a Boss and a group of Minions.
There are many types of Boss Hordes, giving either the Boss, the Minions, or both special abilities or specific requirements to defeat them.
Twitch Survivor

Zombies spawned with Twitch Integration are based on the player's Action Stage. As the player advances in the game, their Action Stage increases. This causes Enemy spawns to grow more difficult, and more advanced commands become available for viewers to use.
Viewers' names will appear in Purple above their head when targeted at you, and in White when they target someone else.
Kill Spawned Animals
Viewers are not limited to spawning Zombies. They can also spawn Animals, including Mountain Lions, Coyotes, and Bears, oh my!
Animal spawns will also increase in difficulty with Action Stage.
Kill Zombies with Slow
Slow reduces the movement speed of the player and their party.
It can be counteracted by using Fast.
Kill Zombies with Weak Combat
Viewers can use commands such as No Melee or Weakened Range to reduce your combat abilities.
They can be counteracted by using their inverse command. For example if Weakened Melee is active, using Boost Melee will cancel it.
Kill Zombies with Anti-Leech
Anti-Leech reflects some of the Damage done to Enemies back to the player.
This can be counteracted by using Leech.
Kill Zombies with Keep Moving
Keep Moving causes the player and their party to lose Health while they stand in one spot.
The only way to avoid Damage is to keep moving.
Kill Zombies with Confuse
The Confuse command causes the movement controls for the player and their party to become Reversed.
Kill Zombies with Deafen
Deafen muffles the in-game sounds that the player and their party hear.
Kill Zombies with Don't Miss
With Don't Miss active, any player attacks that don't hit an Enemy will cause them to lose Health.
Kill Zombies with Headshot Only
Headshots Only causes any Damage done to any body part besides the Head to be nullified.
Silly

Big Heads is a command that enlarges the heads of Zombies and Animals.
Kill Bucket Head Zombies
Bucket Heads adds Buckets to the heads of Zombies and Animals. This greatly reduces the amount of Headshot damage that Enemies receive. Has no effect on Plants.
Kill Tiny Zombies
Tiny Zombies transforms Zombies into smaller versions of themselves.
Kill Zombies with Celebrate
With Celebrate active, killing any Enemy results in a spray of Confetti instead of a corpse.
This includes Animals, so I hope you weren't going to eat that.
Kill Zombies with Silly Sounds
SIlly Sounds is a silly action that causes many normal game sounds to become Silly.
Kill Dancing Zombies
Dance Off causes Zombies to break out in dance for a time.
After busting some moves, they will Charge aggressively towards the player and their party.
Homerun Derby
Homerun Derby involves using Melee Attacks to launch Zombies into Balloons for Points. When the event ends, the player and their party are Rewarded based on their total Score.
Blue Balloons are worth 1 point.
Green Balloons are worth 2 points.
Red Balloons are worth 3 points.
